The Chevy Colorado is an award-winning truck and a leading seller for Chevrolet. If you are looking for a great mid-size truck, the Chevy Colorado is the right truck for you. Its specs are pretty impressive too.
The Colorado has two engine options. The 2.7L turbo engine or the TurboMax engine come standard depending on the trim level. You could get 237 horsepower or 310 horsepower. Depending on the model and the engine selected or the engine that came standard, you might be seeing 259, 369, or 391 pounds-feet of torque. The truck can tow up to 7,700 pounds. All of the trim levels have an 8-speed automatic transmission regardless of the engine.
The four-way or six-way front manual passenger seat is matched with the 8-way power driver's seat. Dual zone climate control is available in some trim levels. There are bucket seats in every truck, front carpeted floor mats to protect the carpeting underneath, and a center console up front to store everything from extra keys to your phone and cups.
An advanced trailering package makes hauling easier than ever. Every trim level comes with an impressive upgrade in wheel type, wheel color, and impressive tires in all-season, all terrain, black wall. The cab, the bed, and the length of each trim level can be customized to suit your needs and preferences.
Depending on the year and trim level, the Colorado truck comes in up to eight different colors. The standard colors of black, gray, silver, white, dark gray and red are par for the course. Some shade of blue or navy is less common, but does exist. Red is the most highly sought-after color, but we will probably have a few in red in our inventory.
This is the safest truck you can buy, next to any of Chevy's other trucks. Six wraparound air bags protect you no matter how the truck is hit or rolls. Auto emergency braking, 360-degree camera views, and three years of OnStar Remote Access prevent accidents and provide access in the event you are in an accident. A full suite of driver assist features work to prevent all types of accidents, regardless of where on the road or on the city street the truck is.
From the 11" driver control panel to the 11.3" touchscreen infotainment center, you can see that there's a whole lot more to driving a Chevy Colorado truck than just driving a truck.
