INTERIOR
There are two comfortable rows of seats in this Chevy SUV. Second-row legroom is pretty generous, with there being nearly 40 inches of legroom. The Equinox can either have cloth or leather seats, with the higher trims coming with, the more premium material. The steering wheel can be wrapped in leather, and heating elements can be built into the steering wheel, rear outboard seats, and front seats. If you want to stay just as comfortable in the summer as you can be in the winter, think about getting a model with ventilation in the front seats. When it comes to cargo space, the Equinox has a nice amount of room. Behind the seating area, there's a cargo hold that has a volume of almost 30 cubic feet. Lowering the rear seats down increases cargo capacity to nearly 64 cubic feet.
TECHNOLOGY
Giving you instant access to all kinds of information as you travel around Coraopolis, the infotainment system on the Equinox comes with either a seven- or eight-inch touchscreen, depending on the trim. Bluetooth, voice commands, and smartphone compatibility are all standard. Navigation is available on select models, as is a premium audio system.
SAFETY
Chevy has made safety a priority. The base models come standard with many driver-assist components, including lane departure warning, lane keep assist, forward collision alert, emergency braking, and blind zone monitoring. These can all be useful as you deal with unexpected situations on the roads around Wexford. If there's an issue, you'll be alerted to the situation, and your vehicle could actively work to prevent an accident from occurring. The emergency braking system is particularly effective, and it can keep you from accidentally hitting another car or a pedestrian in your path.
